ABOUT
Ten years in the making, a series of fortunate circumstances led to what has been a lifelong aspiration for Walt and Wilma Byron.
Opening a flower and gift shop was made possible when the owner of Quaker Corner Flower & Gift Shop, decided to sell his building. The Byrons may have thought they were close to retirement, but dreams and goals are timeless, and you just never know when the right time will present itself.

Walt & Wilma have been together since high school. They live in a home on Guilford Lake that Walt, a master carpenter, transformed. Walt is a professional craftsman, and renovated the old house that is now their new store, Flowers & Gifts By Grace. Walt has contributed to crafting shelves, frames, displays, furniture, and other items for sale in the shop.

Wilma is an artist and designer by nature. She's taken art classes and floral design training. Wilma has been designing floral arrangements on request and has experience with floral wedding designs. It's been a dream of hers to turn this passion into a steady practice.
The Byrons are busy with grandchildren, number 7 is on the way, and now they're making time for the lovely town of Salem, Ohio too. They are also using several local vendors from Eastern Ohio, to join the spirit of "locals supporting locals." Some of the items for sale at the store are made by local artists.

Walt and Wilma are two of the most giving locals you could ever want to know. It's no surprise they would want to bring color and gifts into the community, inspiring the act of giving for any occasion, season or reason.
